life they say is indeed a beautiful gift. but what kind of beauty can be derived from the life a girl like Ada whose mother gave up at the birth of the young lady. born about thirty six years ago, Ada's mother died shortly after putting her to bed. out of love for the young lady her father married another woman to help take care of his daughter while he was at work. unfortunately, this turned out to be his own undoing as the woman he got married to became a bone of contention both to him and his daughter. to cut the log story short, Ada ended up forcing herself into the hands of a man in a bid to leave her father's house and escape from the monster called her step mother. unfortunately, this became in itself a gateway to yet another nightmare, as Ada ended up in the hands of a man whose promiscuity made him a victim of a course that plagued both of them for over ten years. shortly after their marriage, Ada discovered that the man she had married had impregnated a girl and abandoned her along with the baby. out of anger, the girl's mother placed a curse on him, saying he would not live to have another baby.
