President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday met behind closed-doors with a former Head of
State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar (retd.), and a former South African President,
Thabo Mbeki.
The meeting was held inside the President's official
residence inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
None of them spoke with journalists at the end of the
parley.
But there are indications that the leaders deliberated on
the conduct of the forthcoming general
elections in the country.
