Schoolgirl ‘worried by grades’ loses both legs after jumping under train

A schoolgirl has lost both her legs after lying under a train because ‘she was worried her parents would react negatively to her school report’.

Jesika Tothova, 15, from the western Slovakian town of Pezinok, had reportedly told friends she was apprehensive over revealing the bad grades to her mum and dad.

This apparently led her to make a suicide attempt, although there may have been other issues that we do not know about.
